Loved this article. I never thought of eating daylily, impatiens or elderberry blooms. I also didn't know about the blooms on Red Runner beans. Are the other green bean blooms eatable?
Two of my favorites are borage and nasturtium blooms. Lovey dubby

I love nasturtiums in salads! Both the blooms and the leaves. I think they taste like radish,

One of my favorite garden flower snacks, Turk's Cap! Delicious, but I leave most of them for the hummingbirds and butterflies!

I'll have to try some herb flowers this year. Thanks for all that good info!

I didn't know that about Turk's cap either! Hurray! I lost my plant and now I need to find a new one! Lol!

But, there are lots of edible wildflowers.

Right now some of my favorites are starting to bloom; Spring Beauty (Claytonia sp.) and violets. Wild onions should be coming up soon, I really love those!

Yes, Lynn, bean blossoms are edible. Thumbs up They do have a bean flavor, but more sweet. I'm usually too worried about getting enough beans to grow, so don't usually eat the flowers.

Hilarious!
