Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing That's priceless Clint! I love your response that your chicks are 2-3" wide! I bet they're telling their friends about the crazy guy that came in to buy chicken grit. Hilarious! Hilarious! Our feedmill thought I was more than a little strange for using it for plants too. Whistling

I agree Me too Lynn, lately anyway!! I bought mine in an upscale Seattle chicken store - very pricey and urban! So I don't think I was the first person to use this for plants, he began asking about chickens but could tell by my expression that I didn't have a clue - so he asks "are you gardening with this?" Hilarious!
So funny that we've all had similar experiences! Oh the humiliation we go through for our lovely semps! I tip my hat to you. Hurray!

I get stone dust from a gravel pit. Luckily the machine operator that hauls it for me already knew I was nuts.I gave up on the chick grit when I started needing a lot. Now I add the rock crusher dust to my planting mix and add it to my gardens.

Yes me too! Now I've been keeping an eye out for long skinny rocks that I could lay side by side (one in front of the other) and plant along them! I tip my hat to you.
