Save Money: Buy Clearance Plants

By GigiPlumeria
March 28, 2013

I find myself looking at clearance racks more often these days, especially after I discovered I can easily make them into beautiful plants for a fraction of the original price. All it takes is a little tender loving care.

They are great for replacing the dead or overgrown succulents from your priced succulent collection planters.

Yes, clearance racks are a good source of plants.
In the fall or late summer, I look there for dormant plants.
One other shopper asked me why I was buying "dead" plants.
She did not believe me when I said it would be fine in the spring.

Correct😍😍and depending on the plant type, you could get more plants in late summer or fall to divide and replant.

I can't believe that at 2 years old, my clearance rack daisy is still blooming like crazy. And it multiplied into several clumps. They are happy so am not touching them.
