I have been holding off posting because it has been so cold here this year. Usually I have my outdoor containers completed the week before Mother's Day but this year I did them the day before and then it was cold but company was coming and they expect them to be done.
Even the plants were small compared to other years so it will be a couple of weeks before I take pictures.
The 6 large outdoor containers that sit around the barnyard and lane
have Lantana 'comara' and a pretty yellow hybrid petunia and a green and white coleus (pledtranthus) (sp?) . The color combination is very nice.
The boxes have a hybrid called Petchoa (terracotta), and Silver - Helichrysum (sp?). I will have pictures soon.
I have Maid of Orleans Jasmine, red bougainvillea and red mandevilla on the decks in containers. We have had frost just two nights ago. It has been a difficult time for those poor plants being outside these cold nights, but they are survivors and doing fine if the daytime temps get above 60. Have a great day.
