the plant tag seems to indicate that your plant is a sedum cross (hybrid). It does look a bit like Sedum nussbaumerianum, though

Sedum adolphii has chunky leaves like this one ..

Sedum nussbaumerianum looks to have narrower leaves..

Hi Janet! So glad you popped in.

Here's the link to Sedum adolphii in our database, there's currently only one photo there for comparison: Golden Sedum (Sedum adolphi)

Hi Lin!

That looks a good match to me, but as always we can't be a hundred % certain.

I agree, it does look close, but I do question the X on the plant tag. That would indicate that the plant is a hybrid rather than a species....but, S adolphii may be one of the parents.

Good eye Moon ... I didn't even notice or pay attention to the x on the plant tag ... probably is a hybrid with maybe adolphii as one parent.

Thanks Lin....but honestly i kept going back to the picture for comparisons and it wasn't until the 3rd or 4th look that I noticed the X Whistling

Can Alex tell us what is on the tag? Plants are not always correctly tagged, and it looks like there is a 'c' as in 'cedum'.

There is Sedum x adolphii, it was a suggestion on google image search. One photo matches well!

I do agree that sedum X adolphii seems to have something to do with this plant, Janet. The link I posted was for info on sedum X adolphii "Golden Sedum" which looks quite similar

This was tagged as just Sedum X. Usually at the greenhouse I buy succulents from they have genus and species, so I wasn't sure if the X meant it was a hybrid or if they just didn't know what the species was!
