I think you're right! I noticed some little purple buds on the sides of the pink flowers this morning. Thanks!

I agree, it looks like Tillandsia cyanea. You should upload your lovely photo's to the database:

Will do! I bought this one at my local nursery-they had a bunch of large tillandsia but I got this one because it was flowering!
