Kiwi are blooming.
Anna Apple has apples.
Five varieties of Muscadine have flower buds.
African Honeysuckle fruit is almost ripe.
Strawberry Guava has flower buds.
Surinam cherry has flower buds.
Royal Lee has one cherry.... HA!
Moringa is flowering.
I now have nine varieties of Pineapple Guava with flower buds.
I have been hand pollinating Akebia.
Phalsa has flower buds.
Che has flower buds.
Fantastic Avocado has fruit. Joey has flowers.
All my Poms have flowers.
Figs have figs.
Jujube have flower buds.
My Peach seedling that ripens green is covered in fruit and flowers.
White Sapote dropped fruit.
Pineapple Quince "the indestructable fruit tree" flowering.
Santa Rosa and Methley have fruit.
Shangri La Mulberry fruit is about to ripen.
Loquats are about to ripen.

My squash, tomatoes, beans, tomatillos, strawberries, cucumbers, and wildflowers are blooming

Good for you, texaskitty! Tomatillos blooming! I've never been able to get mine to bloom until fall.

Everything is coming along slowly here this year with the extra long, cold winter we had. English peas are blooming. The wild blackberries are blooming now (about three weeks later than usual), and there's a ton of blooms, full of honeybees. That's a nice sight.

I sowed the tomatillos indoors in Dec. as things previously grew so slow. Hard to say if the extra month helped, or the improved soil. How close to Murchison do you live?

Oh, those look great! I had never heard of Murchison so had to look it up... that's Henderson County which is not really too far south of us, I'm north of you in Hopkins County.

But I have to say I can go ten miles from home and be in another climate/zone. I do see ground cherries growing in the spring so I'm not sure why I can't grow tomatillos. But, you've given me incentive

That's true about climate changes. We have long ago decided we live in a microclimate. It can rain across the street, and not here. Ive heard dave say the same thing about his place in a podcast. Tomatoes froze 10 miles SW of us a few weeks ago. Texas is weird.

Everything has exploded in just the last week, so I really can't complain.

Of the early bloomers, so far I see fruit on the:
Peach trees
Plum trees
Flowering quince

Which is nice because last year we got hit with a late freeze three nights in a row causing zero fruit for us!!
