here is our new greenhouse we got for $299 bucks from harbor freight tools . they run a sale every 2 or 3 weeks . regular price is $ 399. it is 6 ft x 8 ft and a little over 6 ft tall . the same greenhouse everywhere else is around $ 500 to $ 600 . drawbacks of this one is lack of proper instructions . could use better pics to go by . also a couple of the screw holes did not line up , so i had to drill new ones . i have the benches built and ready to go tomorrow after i get the door put together . i put 5 bags of pea gravel but could use maybe 2 more bags to get a thick layer on the floor of it .

LOL! I know exactly how you feel. My son got me a small one a couple of years ago (used, on Craig's List) and I have been thrilled with it. But it's at HIS house and not always convenient to go the 12 miles to work in it. I start most of my stuff from seeds under lights in the house and am always in need of a holding spot before planting out so my husband decided to buy me one for our house this year. We got it up just in time to move my seedlings out and it is filled to the hilt! I even set up crates with plywood down the middle aisle and they are full! I had to move some cold hardy stuff outside now to finish putting in the other seedlings.

We didn't even wait to get the mulch down on the floor. Right now it's just cardboard. All the plants will be out soon enough so I'll put the mulch down then.

So, filler up!!! And take lots of pictures to post.

i am behind on getting stuff going but i will try and catch up using heat tape . mom puts down the heat tape and then sand over top of it and she can bring up seeds in 3 or 4 days . so i am hoping that will help me catch up . i started a few trays indoors 2 days ago . plus i have bought a lot . this is my first season in a new house so i need tons of plants to get it landscaped . i finished up my greenhouse and got my tables built today . then i added rope lights to the table tops to set my trays on to help warm the soil . heat tape and heat mats are to expensive and the rope lights put off plenty of heat . if you use the rope lights make sure they are not LED . the LED lights don't put off heat . i have everything in there now so tomorrow i can get going on getting some seeds planted and going . i would have been done yesterday if it hadn't of sleeted all day . this crazy weather is driving me insane and putting me way behind . I didn't even think of rope light. Are they expensive? I have seeds in the greenhouse that are slow coming out.

I like those different colors too. Thank you for the tip on LED.

they aren't to bad expensive . a lot cheaper than heat tape . plus if you check thrift stores and yard sales you might find them used and in good shape . i have had these for 5 years . i pulled them out of my christmas decorations . the blue strand has a burnt out section but they still work .
