Don't understand why people plant those spiky specimens into arrangements that don't need them or don't balance out the height somewhere else in the pot. It gets so distracting...like, what's the point?
Oops, forgot to thank you, Paul, for sharing the pics...I'm not always a grump in the morning...

And I love the tall spikey plant in the middle, it will be wonderful once the geraniums grow up. The colors are wonderful.
It's night time, so I'm not grumpy. Rolling on the floor laughing

I like the geranium pot but think I find the bloom a little jarring. If I had one I might keep the bloom picked off.

How funny, I really liked the orange bloom. Lovey dubby
To me it brings out some kind of orange hue in the leaves of the Cordyline. Green Grin!

I love the shocking palette of those containers and great textural components. The chartreuse green of the sweet potato vine, painted leaves of the geranium with bright orange flowers. Hurray! Not at all something I would think of putting together, but would copy. That planter would definitely warm up a cloudy summer day and add some sun to my patio area.
