Grafting would be the answer. Anything I pay good money for I get grafted.

Thumb of 2018-06-10/BBQNBLUES/5b007f

UPDATE: October 10th 2019 **FINALLY ! Kapalua decided to _start an inflo. Unfortunately, tomorrow night out temps are going down to 43f so I can kiss this one goodbye until next year. At least it put on a lot of growth in a years time (close to 4' tall now)

Welcome! @BBQNBLUES

Please take a moment and go to your "Profile". Update the information there, showing your location. Good luck with the Kapalua Plumeria. That's one I have never had. Now that I am in Vero Beach, FL rather than Starkville, MS, I hope to expand the varieties that I grow. I have a lot of Plumeria (100+) but not a lot of varieties, at least known, named varieties.

The reason it's so hard to lose weight when you get up in age is because your body and your fat have become good friends.

Dutchlady1 said:That JC plumeria is ridiculous. It's pink for crying out loud!!

All those people that think they can keep a Plumeria rare (and I include Jim Little in this) by making it expensive forget ONE important thing... once a single cutting is out of their hands they no longer have control over it. The Thai growers will take a 6" piece of stick and make a dozen or more plants from it through bud grafting.

Incidentally Alan Bunch of Exotic Plumeria has for years sold 'Confetti' (a re-name of Barbados Showgirl) for $ 149 a cutting....

I think people like this are just being greedy.

And Beauty is in the eye of the beholder... Whistling

Is JC plumeria a vendor in California ? If so, he gets all his stuff from Jungle Jack. No way he should be selling anything super expensive.

The worth of something is simply based on what someone (even if an idiot) is willing to pay.
