Shorter than Clints.
I'll take another photo once I plant it, that will give some scale for size of log? Wonder how many semps it will take?

Hilarious! Rolling on the floor laughing Oh, Clint, funny!
Lynn, that's a wise looking log. Speaks to you, does it? I am envious that your log is(looks) bigger than mine. You can fit more plants!! Hurray! Mine is a challenge to balance plants in it as the space is a little small; but small log, small space; what can you expect? Rolling my eyes.

Just finished driftwood planter that included (some guessing here):
Sedum album 'Album Micranthum',
Sedum rupestre 'Angelina'
Sedum sexangulare and other sedum noids.
Semp. arachnoideum allotonii
Semp. stansfieldii or noid with purple foliage that I know somebody out there can identify faster than me doing research.

Before and After Pics (Driftwood planting space is 12inches long by 2inches width; just a "little" smaller than Clint's log... Whistling )

You are inspiring me to plant mine, which also is smaller than Clint's log. Whistling

If it weren't raining right now I might have been out there looking for a log in the woods myself. I definitely like the more natural look when it comes to gardening Clint!

Nice job on that log, Bev. However, there seems to be some unused knotholes and crevices in that last photo. Maybe you can cram something small into those? I just don't like wasted empty space Hilarious! .
