I just saw the weather forcast for this week. Brrrrr. It was chilly today but not what it is going to be.

Snow and 20 degrees Monday into Tuesday with up slope ,,, which usually means heavy snow.. unless they are wrong

Which they have been for last several days. It was close to 60 today and they had predicted cold and snow previously for today. Guess We will just have to wait and see what actually happens. Hope the Semps don't mind this changing weather.

Marilyn, they won't mind, as long as they don't get too wet!! And even then, unless they rot, they'll be fine! Stay warm, looks like your styro container project is on hold?? Shrug!

I hear ya! I moved a bunch of stuff outside the other day - I live in a studio apt and I was tired of tripping (nearly) over chicken wire, and pots and half made pots! As soon as our weather warms back up - which is supposed to be in about a week then almost all my indoor plants are making their way outside! Then I'll have my space back! (This year got way out of hand!) Rolling on the floor laughing
I am curious how that tool of yours works though! Wished we lived closer, we could work together on a project! Thumbs up

No, I was waiting for the weather to warm up and thien I was going to string an extension cord outside

and have a go. But then it was so sunny and nice for several days this week, I took off to the shops.

After walking the Lowes, Walmart, Tagawa and a few other stores, I came home whipped so I said "Tomarrow"

I do have all the paint and stuff to accomplish it and will do it soon. I need to put my priority list together and follow it.

I think I have run out of excuses now. I will move it up toward if not to the top. .

I am looking for a tall 2 1/2 -3 feet high skinny planter. For something I have in my mind next to my front door. It is #1 so far.

Well we had one day of 70 and another few days of between 55 and 65+

But it is like that at this time of year. I remember a Mothers day of 82 and next day 15 inches of snow.

That is just the way it is. That is why we do not plant usually until after Mother's day.

I agree Me to. And last week we had almost a full week of spring weather. Now it is windy, cold and wet. VERY wet, water comes up around your feet when you walk across the lawn. Sad

It's soggy here too. It's getting better though. At least it's not the hot June or July summer yet.

Marilyn, me too, when its wet out, I'm creaky! We won't guilt you into doing that project, it'll be fun once you show photos, you'll be all proud of your project! (face it, we're an easy crowd, we just want photos and info!!) nodding I have a bottle palm that I'm looking for a 2 foot tall skinny planter for - that's funny! I tip my hat to you.

I'm sore from making the log planter already. You don't realize how old you're getting until you are squatting in the yard and bent over for an hour. I had a hard time standing back up. Rolling on the floor laughing

Its the knees! Someone asked me "what age are you?" I was going to answer "I'm the age that you notice your knees being stiff and sore, and your neck has a bit more skin, and your face has a few more wrinkles and you've stopped worrying about "going gray" already gone! Thumbs up nodding

I worked in my mom's yard last year and had to pull my leg inside the car door. I couldn't bend it enough. Lol.

One of my favorite children's stories, about being "Real":

"Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But these things don't matter at all, because once you are Real you can't be ugly, except to people who don't understand.”

Yes great story! I think I need to reread it! I've been seeing quotes in different sources lately...I always take that as messages! nodding
Patty you may have gotten me to go back to Irises...just the mini ones, I thought the only minis were bulb iris (reticulata) which I have a couple of. I like the idea of planting some in my semp beds! I tip my hat to you.
