Did anyone try Sedum 'Dazzleberry? I finally found 'Cherry Tart' and 'Lime Zinger' today locally.

I bought it last fall on a half price thing. It's coming up nicely with dark foliage. I will snap a picture in the Morning.

I have all three. I got them last fall and they did well. They're just starting to come to life again after our nasty winter.

Here is Dazzelberry. I like the color of the foliage. It's bigger than a groundcover sedum but not going to be an upright either.

Nice Julia. And we have no photo of that one in the database. Would be great to have photo of it in it's young stage. Whistling

Clint, I saw your photo of Lime Zinger you entered today. It is a beauty. Will be interesting to watch it's development over the summer and into fall. Thumbs up

So, how is Dazzleberry doing for everyone? I just got a little plant from @goldfinch4 ( Lovey dubby ) and currently have it planted in a container with some other things, and I know the container is way too small, so today I want to move it to somewhere more suitable. I am looking for info!

As it is mid October now I think I might just put it in its own pot and bury the pot partway for protection, rather than try to find an in-the-ground home just yet.

I love my Dazzleberry! it bloomed really well this summer. Lovely rich color and the pollinators loved it.

Beautiful picture Catmint! Kyla, I think your plant would do well half buried for the winter.

Thanks, Chris! I agree with the advice about the new Dazzleberry. Sunny spot, not too wet.

Okay! I was just outside checking over the available pots. Lots of plastic, and not much else. I'd prefer to use a clay pot for this but oh well! Thanks for the help. Smiling

Dazzleberry really, really wants to be in full sun!

I saw @catmint20906's Dazzleberry in person, and it's so pretty! Lovey dubby Mine's in part shade and it's looking floppy and kind of sad.

Great information to have ssgardener.
Maybe you can make a comment to the database entry for 'Dazzleberry', on preferred growing condition? That could be very helpful to some one just getting started with this plant.

I agree, please leave a comment. Dazzleberry is a whole different plant in shade or sun. Definitely loves sun.

I accidentally unwatched this thread after leaving my comment, and only just now read the follow up suggestion to go to the plant forum page.

I just left a comment on the Dazzleberry page! Thumbs up
