I think it depends on the plant but i do what everyone says don't.I mist them once every 2 weeks until they sprout but lightly very very lightly. Then once a week after they get roots into the dirt.I also keep them not under but next to a grow light and when they sprout & get some size i place them closer to the light & mist little more.I also always mist with water that has Super Thrive in it,Maybe that makes a difference but i mist every thing & water everything with it. So it's kinda the old saying nobody's way is the right way & nobody's way is the wrong way,it's just their way!!! Thumbs up

It's a product that isn't fertilizer. It is all i say vitamins & minerals. It's about $10. here at wal-mart,Lowe's & home depot.I add it at 10 ML. to a gallon of water every watering and with fertilizer.I was amazed when i started using it. I first started using it on my Hoya's, I love it!!!!

Oh wow! I have what was labeled hoya in my bathroom which I have yet to even water yet..... it is a jade though (what I think anyways) It has grown a lot since I got it about 2 months ago. I will have to go and get some to try. Can this be used on all plants? Can you use it on the leaves like for palms? I constantly mist my palms and they have done really well. Do you spray right on the leaves then or just on the dirt?

Marilyn, this is my 1st. year having semps. I always add a slow release to my beds and then individual plants may get a specific NPK of fertilizer depending on what it needs. If i fertilize it,i superthrive it.I have lots of house plants also and it's wonderful for my Hoya's,Rhipsalis, many tender succulents etc...

There is a kind for crops, bush's etc... you can order if you need or want to use it in beds maybe?? Confused Confused
Thumb of 2013-04-10/jojoe/ef0904
I ordered this black pussy willow the beginning of last year,I superthrived it when it came as a cutting barely rooted.I have also poured a gallon of water w/superthrive on it when i planted it and this spring a time or two. It's a year old and had 4 catkins already,is that good? I don;t know when they are suppose to get them Hilarious! been meaning to ask!! Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Thumb of 2013-04-10/jojoe/dc4255

I was introduced to SuperThrive about 10 years ago. What is really strange to me about it is what the smell and color of the liquid itself does to me when I open the bottle. It really, really reminds me of a vitamin liquid (identical smell and color) that my mom in the late 50's used to make us take by the spoonful whenever she remembered to give it to us. She said it would be good for us and I believed her.
OK enough nostalgia...super thrive is not a fertilizer it is more like a vitamin, rooting enhancer, foliage and flowering enhancer. It is something you would add to your fertilizer or just give to plants on its own in between feedings. Analogy would be fertilizer to plants is like food to humans. SuperThrive to plants is like vitamins to humans. I have used it for over 10 years mainly to help strengthen my semps for the winters when I was living in New Mexico.
Back to the beginning, I think Super Thrive had some of the same ingredients of that vitamin that my Mom fed me by the spoonfuls in my early life...crazy, I know.... Whistling Shrug!

I didn't mind the smell, it was the thickness of it that bothered me. Funny thing is, when you mentioned it I could taste it. Big Grin

Bev, it does have a funny smell to it. I just bought it though and added it to all of my plants. We shall see how they do Hurray! Memories are great and I have many fond ones of my Mom's as well. I can't wait for her plants over at my dad's house to come up so I can go and save them.
