I agree Paul, I love Lost Treasure and went to the data base to see who the hybridizer was and it wasn't there. Would you consider putting them in the data base?

*Blush* The iris I called Lost Treasure is actually Lost Art....Black 2005. I've changed the ID on the picture. I will check the data base. I think many pictures came over from cubits and I probably had added it there.

There are several of my pictures of Lost Art on the data base. Correct ID does wonders.

Paul, your pictures give me hope that spring will actually arrive some day. I love that Tu Tu Turquoise, any idea where I could get that one?

Thanks everyone. Tom, Tu Tu T was introduced by Paul Black in 1988. A little story.......I gave a start to a neighbor many years ago. She passed away and 2 years ago I drove by her empty home and saw little iris blooming. They were the ones I had given her. I talked to her son and got an OK to go rescue a start as I didn't grow it any more. Glad I did. There are a couple more SDBs opening this morning and I will take pictures the evening. We are supposed to have a cold front come next week. Hope it doesn't freeze.

Tom, Tu Tu Turquiose is still being sold by Mid-America Garden. I'm guessing it's the only 80's vintage iris in their catalog.

I'll bet Paul Black has made many crosses and discarded many seedlings trying to go another step with TTT. Here are some blooming today......Thumb of 2013-04-13/Paul2032/99ff54 Bourgeois

Thanks Paul, and Kent, I haven't sent my order to Mid America yet, so I'll have to add that one for sure. I have one called Truely, that is a very light color turquoise , but not as dark and nice as that one.

They also sell Bombay Sapphire. The color may not be as good, but the form is better.
