I was going to cull these, but unless I get some really great ones, I think Ill keep both for another year. They are at least good enough to give away to people who want dayliies, but dont care if they are registered.

Its just got two branches and about 6-8 buds. Nice scape and the flowers bloom so you can see them facing you, not straight up. Im going to keep it for at least a year. Its the first decent 'true' mini Ive ever gotten. Im about to go get its pollen, just in case.

What Im excited about is who is going to bloom tomorrow, its ready to pop. I guess you know who that is ;-)

My ES seedlings have nary a scape. Fun to see someone elses

Fred's Fire and Flame that I recently received is growing and has a scape beginning to form.
Wow, that was quick! We had temps up to the 80s, but tonight a frost freeze warning. The
plant has protective covering, so maybe tonight's prediction of 32 degrees won't harm it.
And just when I thought spring was here to stay.

A lot of the daylilies we are shipping now have scapes and have to be cut off to get the plant in the box. We are at 40* again this morning, strange weather.
All these seedlings are 7-8 months old unless stated otherwise.
