Sorry about the weather, Margaret.
And Sue as well, the marauding wildlife sounds at least as dismal.
I complain about voles, but at least they're not the size of deer.

Thanks for the comments.
Sue, I'd love to have colour, in blocks, as you create with your species tulips.

Reached about 23°C/73°F today.
So sunny difficult to get pictures.

Our first daffodils to flower did so only four days ago.
Today there's a number in flower.

Charlie, lovely blooms. Hubby and I went shopping today in Kamloops, weather was cloudy, almost no wind, 65/17, was very pleasant, then started to rain about the time we got home, I'll take the rain over snow anytime. Hilarious!

I bought a few herbs to plant in pots and some blue columbine for the garden, 3 different cultivars, maybe tomorrow I will have time to take photos. Green Grin!

It is May and we finally have spring!
Spring bulbs and perennials ( a few) are coming along nicely.
Might even start hardening some tomatoe plants.

Think we're just going into a two week no-rain spell; not likely good for this time of year.
May have to start watering the garden.
Bought some perennials for our garden too, Margaret.
I guess that's what gardeners do.

Great news, Caroline.
The calm before gardening starts.

Thanks Margaret, Rita.
I wish my spring bulbs were as orderly as Rita's.
I really like the look of your "sheets" of colour, Rita.

Beginning to get some more spring perennials blooming,
so am guessing it would be a good idea to continue
with a Northern Gardening forum: Spring Perennials (2013).
Hope that appropriate.

Well, I think tulips look great no matter what pattern they are planted in. But my bulbs end up in rows because my daylily gardens are in rows. And I plant the bulbs in my daylily gardens. So they end up on rows also.

It's very interesting to hear how other gardens are worked and why, Rita.

Your rows produce an impressive effect.
