Bev, I'll take a photo of my Silver King tomorrow morning. It is the fuzzy one. It was the only one to be found around here a few years back.

Hurray! Babies, I love seeing baby semps. Great photos Sandi. Lovey dubby

Bev or whomever posted about shade cloth (maybe it was a different forum), I may have to do some sort of shade this summer, even though all my plants are shaded by a tree they really took a beating last summer. But the heat was really intense. I am hoping if I put them in shade and in the stryofoam I will keep their roots cooler. That's the plan anyway.

Sandi, Your babies are precious. Time to go out and check mine again.

Marilyn, it was me but I've been using the lighter frost cloth on my semps between 12pm and 4pm because of the heat and sun. I don't have the altitude exposure (what's your altitude? I know Denver is 5000+ft) but semp bed is in between 2 houses and it gets really hot in that "alley". If semps are located near windy conditions, I opt for shade cloth because it is heavier and won't blow off the plants by the gusts. Of course some people have these covers all rigged up...like Lynn... Whistling

That last one is HUGE is have never seen a semp that big,i know some get big but this one is my biggest.I should measure how wide it is.I have babies & the pot came with other's in it of that same type if anyone would like one!! I love sharing my plants & lately all i have found has been strawberry pots with the same kind in it and the large pot with one in the center and all the rest seem to be the same,so i have plenty of certain ones.
When i seen that huge semp on top i had to buy it i lost all control.

The last one is so cool looking the red almost looks painted on,it's really cool looking.I don't know if i should have pulled them apart before planting but i didn't i like the way they look up against each other so i planted them like that. Lovey dubby
