This is the first Jovi i have grown.In the picture there are little stems growing out of the plant is this how they make their babies.

you can see the little ones in the pot but they aren't connected to the larger plant.I know some seem to divide when they multiple,are these little stems babies?

When can i plant these plants in the bed? The largest plant seems healthy enough to maybe go in the bed fairly soon,but i don't know if the other 2 should not be put out until they have good roots.

Jojoe, those itty bitty extensions do look like offsets. The smaller, unconnected plants may just be separate individuals that rolled off the mama and rooted away.
I never take a chance and assume that something that got sent to me is already acclimated to the sun or cold or heat...I tend to put new plants outside in protected area (shaded) initially for 15 min daily just to get them used to the wind or cold or heat. Then after a week's time I may move them out to morning sun for 15 min and put back into shade and then work them gradually to more sun for longer periods. Your jovi looks a little tender like it's been indoors or protected. It's not just sun that it needs time to get used to. Sometimes you need to consider wind and heat and cold, etc.

Oh Jojoe it's precious! Great pic of the babies just beginning to form, will you post more as they develop? I've not seen jovi babies grow before, although I hope mine will start sending some out very soon.

Definitely young ones starting up. Your Olympicum does look a bit etoliated but it is certainly mature enough, including the smaller ones, to plant outside. If you are going to have other Jovi's in your collection and want to keep them from getting "name-confused", be sure to separate them with a little space or put other semps in between. Olympicum is one of the roller types, so the offsets will travel a bit from the parent plant.

Fun thing to try with Jovi rollers: Take a young roller offset and plant it upside down or on an angle (just set it on the surface). The roller will send out roots and then use them to pull itself into a better, more upright position.

I've notice they do that Twit. They are very cool little plants!

Yes, they are really fun plants to watch.
Something really wonderful about the roller types is there toughness. Nothing seems to faze them.
