Keep Baggies Handy

Keep a box of baggies in the car to hold cuttings from friends' gardens, should the need arise.

Having plastic bags in the car is a great idea, thanks.
I also keep one small size water bottle in the car trunk to keep the cuttings damp in transit.
Also, if you should have an opportunity to obtain a cutting while getting exercise walking a dog,
one can use a (clean!) 'doggie bag' to carry the cuttings home.

An alternate idea is a clean, wide mouth peanut butter jar, in case there are lots of cuttings available.
