I will be growing the Japanese-developed morning glory species and variety Ipomoea nil 'Blue Silk' again this year after a several year hiatus. This strain was responsible for my incurable addiction to this plant group.

Three of the seeds made a good root and I potted them a couple days ago.

They all look like they should make good roots. Is that Blue Silk in your avatar?
I have a couple of mystery vines from seeds that were lurking in the baggie I put some Heavenly Blue seeds to sprout. Probably Jamie Lynn, which will be just fine with me!

I don't know why, but blue silk is one I've never grown. I know I have some seeds, maybe I'll try it this year. The flower in your avatar is simply stunning!!

My Blue Silk has variegated leaves, I got it from Joseph, that's why. I think I will grow it again. And Mini Bar Rose. So many to grow, can't wait to see them each morning. Smiling

It is such a beautiful flowering vine, Blue Silk is, that everyone ought to grow it, and then get hopelessly addicted to this plant group! haha

I too am growing Blue Silk after not growing it for many years. Joseph...I am confused though on your avatar, I believe I sent you Blue Silk seeds many years ago from the original seeds offered by Park Seed. Blue Silk is a light blue flower with white border/edge?

Ha ha, Sandy! Joseph changed his avatar in mid thread, so no wonder you're confused! Not sure what his avatar is now, but it's still pretty; just not Blue Silk. Smiling
