The leaves on some of my young (around 5 to 6 months old) Adeniums have started to turn red underneath...like there is blood in their veins...also, a few have developed red pigment on areas of the leaves too. Some of the newly growing leaves look red.

What is causing this...is it nutrient deficiency ? If so, does anyone have any ideas as to what's missing ?

No other signs of problems - no pests and the roots look healthy.

(Any white/dark marks on the leaves in the photos are just dust from the compost and perlite)

Hmm, kind of not easy to see against the bright red background.

My plants get some red blotches and leaf edges with too much Boron. If your plants are OK otherwise, I wouldn't worry.

Cheers,

Melissa
