I don't know if it is the hotter climate (zone 10), if this daylily takes longer to settle in, or if it is just plain unhappy here but, the blooms on my Summer Blush look very muddy so far. Hopefully, this upcoming year will be better.
'Summer Blush' may not be happy in zone 10. It was hybridized by Dan Trimmer when he lived on Long Island, and is quite dormant. It's very vigorous here in zone 4B.
