I'm not sure if this is a wildflower, native, or if it's something the previous owner planted at one time or another. It looks so familiar to me but I'm drawing a blank. Growing in north central Fl.

I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others.

Coreopsis, I'm guessing either Coreopsis auriculata or Coreopsis pubescens.

I'd go with Coreopsis auriculata ..

http://people.duke.edu/~jspippen/plants/coreopsis.htm

Perhaps the variety 'Nana'

The flower petals are broader and more overlapped in Coreopsis pubescens ..
