Rick, that gave me a good laugh! There were a few times when my veggie garden did look like it was planted with kids, as some neighborhood kids were really intrigued with my tomato seed-saving project, and came over to help. They were helping me pick tomatoes, label containers, squeeze the seeds into the cups, etc. Then I learned one of the boys had never even TASTED a fresh tomato, much less a home-grown one, so I set up a tasting station with different varieties, and they all had a good time "ranking" their favorites. One of those spur-of-the-moment projects that became a good teaching moment!
