Greg, I had this plant for 7 years and it never bloomed. The frost in Spokane killed the colony.

Bummer Bev!! I'm pretty sure with my luck it'll bloom When I went home today I noticed several semps beginning to bloom, I snipped the tops off, and hope this will work, one of them doesn't have chicks

Most of the time it has worked for me. You just need to catch them before it gets to far into the process.

I'll have to snip tonite but after I take the picture for Spring, who wants to see a photo of a bloom starting? I know where the scissors are but not sure where the camera is; Gee, Spring, you might not get that photo...
