Duane and Stephanie, great photos! The photos of spanish lavender make me almost smell them!! I've never heard of Echium, it looks really pretty!!
Thanks for sharing!
Columbines all blooming away. I find these short-lived for me, and any seedlings seems to run to the old 'Granny's bonnet' variety (last pic), so I just plan on picking one or two up each season to change out the look. The purple/white Remembrance (2nd row, right) is in honor of the students of Columbine, and I'm hoping that will be a stronger variety and stick around.
. This Persian lavender fills the entire area with its fragrance. For such a small bush it certainly packs in a lot of heaven. The clematis I think compliments it. A little bouquet.
Jewell, I wasn't going to correct you regarding "Persian Lavender" figure you meant persian lilac...but I looked in the database just to be sure, and there isn't any photos of persian lilac, so please feel free to add photos, if you have some that show more of the plant itself, along with this one which shows the bloom! You can earn "acorns" that way, and it increases our database!
Thanks!
Greg, surprised I got the Persian part correct . Will get some better photos for the database.
Mark, love the photo of Chris
Thanks SC
Deb that is a great looking clematis!
