Thank you Cameron. March and April bring out the best colors in our climate. But I love the way they are ever changing.

I didn't know they changed colors too. I learned something new.

I really like the symmetry of semps, even the flowers are beautiful.

And the blooms can be different colors, red, pink, yellow, white.
And the colonies can grow in different forms. laid out in spreading layers, mounded, etc.

I didn't know there was so much variety with semps. How long does it usually take a few plants to form a colony?

Many do it in one season. But mostly in the second year.
