Love all the wonderful photos all of you are posting. I was shocked to see the rich color on Ruffled Pink Perfection. Favs are Briar Patch, Dragonfly Dawn, Whale Tails (glad it has tails now) and Buffalo Thunder. I finally saw scapes on American Flyer - the first and only scapes I have seen.

I am so disappointed in the colors on my plant. Do you think it is possible that I have the wrong plant?

I know that is a BIG difference but Ann, I think you have the right plant; it just needs more time to settle and look that way. If you really doubt it is then I would send the photo to Nicole and ask her about it.

All of the Lambertson daylilies here have so much more color than Luddy has in his photos so it could be your soil, etc making it that way. Also, a lot of blooms here are darker to begin with and then get to looking more like they should on later blooms or even rebloom.

Somehow he looks like an "Elliott" to me...

Hang in there, Ann, and check out the pictures I posted in the Floyd Cove 2013 Intros thread (page 10, I think). My first blooms on MARINA DEL REY were the wrong colors and the eye pattern was a total disappointment -- I thought it was the wrong plant at first. But over the next few weeks it warmed up, and now I've been getting beautiful blooms that I'm absolutely thrilled with. But I'm down to only one bud left now... Crying

Gorgeous photos. I love Cloak of Darkness and Buffalo Thunder.
"Elliot" looks like a very fine specimen.

Ann, I have flowers that begin the season unrecognizable, and after
the temps rise, they look like they are supposed to. Yours may just
need to settle in as Michele said.

All of the blooms are sooooo pretty. I've missed having blooms this year. Atleast I've finally got scapes coming up, little ones, but scapes. I just love Whale Tails and Dragonfly Dawn, Buffalo Thunder and Lillian's Mud Bug Stew. All beautiful colors. I'm really enjoying the color intensity of my new monitor. WOnderful!!!

Marina del Ray is stunning. Love that eye. Lillian's Mud Bug Stew is such an usual color. love it! Thanks to
Who share their wonderful photos.

So Irresistible has had about a half dozen blooms and the color isn't changing at all, so I am not very hopeful.

I wish Elliott and all his buddies would come live in my yard.

Ann - I definitely think you have So Irresistible. It probably needs heat to look like Nicole's. Also, I notice her flowersin that photo are backlit by the sun. That always tinkers with a daylily's colors.

Michele - I'm not big on yellows, but that Limonero Squeeze really caught my eye. Your New Paradigm is looking good. I hope mine resembles yours this season. It's color was way off last year here.
