Very pretty......my 'Pegasus' is getting ready to bloom. They're such forgiving plants, going on year after year even as I've neglected them.

Oh, they are so tough. I have only two, 'Pegasus' and e. strictum, but I've had them for many years and they just seem to live forever. I think strictum has more buds forming now, will have to check.

My epi's blooms are wilting already..that was fast! So do epi's rebloom later in summer or that's it for the season?

And here's another 3-year wait finally in bloom! Odtna. Papageno 'Lavender Lady'

I never pay much attention to when they bloom, but the strictum does repeat bloom over a period of time....love the scent of that one.

I pay attention to all of my plants..coz sometimes they may not do it next season for whatever reason. Smiling Just attention, but not splitting hairs and going bonkers finding out what causes the change. I know Mother Nature has her reasons. At times it is just not the environment the plant likes. Shrug!

I should keep records, but I have a lot of stuff and I'm, unfortunately, not detail oriented. I just know that it will bloom at some point...lol..

I really, really like these colors together...the verbena rigida mixed in with the common pennisetum. I will definitely have to use a lot of this mix on the next property. Both are tough and drought tolerant....
