Oh, they are so tough. I have only two, 'Pegasus' and e. strictum, but I've had them for many years and they just seem to live forever. I think strictum has more buds forming now, will have to check.

I pay attention to all of my plants..coz sometimes they may not do it next season for whatever reason. Just attention, but not splitting hairs and going bonkers finding out what causes the change. I know Mother Nature has her reasons. At times it is just not the environment the plant likes.
I really, really like these colors together...the verbena rigida mixed in with the common pennisetum. I will definitely have to use a lot of this mix on the next property. Both are tough and drought tolerant....

My young anchusa Alkanet is starting to bloom. It would be larger by now if in the ground, but I've kept it in the pot to take with when we move and to make sure I get seeds from it....
