My Henry was also slow to establish, but then quickly exceeded the advertised height and is 43 inches tall and covered with big, beautiful blossoms that stand tall without staking. Blossoms have a strong, sweet scent which I believe is unusual for a red peony. The foliage is a little different than my other herbaceous or Itoh peonies which is another great thing to love about this peony.
