I noticed today that my Elephants Footpring has dissapeared. The spot is bare where it was last year, and there's no sign of any dead rhizomes. It was a fairly large clump. Wonder what happened to it. Also, my second attempt at Pop Idol has failed. At least the last time it had a weak bloom before it died, this time it had a bit of green this spring, and now it's dead. I really like it too, but I guess it doesn't like me.
Politicians are like diapers, they need to be changed often, and for the same reason.

Pippi Longstockings was open this morning, so was Leapords Print, but just like last year, the first blooms don't seem to have the little speckle that the later blooms have, so I didn't take a picture of it. Seems like all my yellow ones are blooming at once.
Sometimes they're heartbreakers. I lost a couple over the winter -- and they were transplants that were healthy and robust last year. Go figure..............
