The stalks on the TB's are coming fast now, it shouldn't be too long before the show starts. The last few warm days sure has made them grow.

We have an IB show right now & the miniature tall are showing stalks. Have to look at last year's log to tell where we are in the season. We don't grow many TBs but the dwarf season was spectacular.

A couple new ones yesterday. I haven't seen what's out today, as it's still dark out.
Pokeyman and a Pokeyman with 4 falls, notice the imported special bloom next to it! It's called Dandy Lion! Rolling my eyes.

Mary Ann, From what I understand they are from the same ancesters some 20 or so generations ago. Two Brothers, Dandy Lion, and Dandah Lion were both vying for Knighthood under one of the queens of Weedom, and Dandy Lion, being quite the "Dandy" was known far and wide for his ability to please the ladies, Well, as it happens, Dandy Lion recieved the knighthood, and later became known as Sir Dandy Lion. The rival brothers soon fought a duel, and Dandah Lion was the victor. However, Dandy Lion had sired some 200+ children who have carried on the lines and spread their little selfs among the nations with their little helicopter seeds. Dandah Lion was "Rounded Up" and put to death for killing a Knight, but not before he had sired a patch of seedlings himself. So you see, that is how we come to have the two families of Lions. And although they are hard to tell which is which just by looking at them, the Dandy Lion family likes to settle among the higher society flowers and will spread among them, and the Dandah Lions will ususally be among the low lifes, in the grass. Rolling my eyes.

Congratulations Jan, Hasn't it seemed like forever? With last year being a month early, and this year being a bit late, it seemed like they were never going to bloom. Now I find more and more buds coming, and I'm sure it will all happen far to fast and be over with.
