Hey Neighbor,
The pictures vary due to the type of camera used, or film used (for the old kind). Even more, they vary from the influence of weather, time of day, soil composition, temperature, moisture, etc.... That is why I like this site. It shows these variances, and gives clues (i.e.-where the plant was grown via location of the poster). It also shows which plants are more or less variable than others.
