It is darker than I expected...don't see much orange. When I cleaned the plants this spring there was an aborted bloom stem that hadn't made it before cold weather. This spring 3 bloom stems and 5 increase.

Thanks everyone. The Utah Iris Society is sponsoring an AIS sanctioned show today so I spent some time yesterday cutting specimens and filling out show tags. I would have liked to cut them this morning but need to leave for Salt Lake City about 6AM to get them entered. I love the shows and look forward to them each year.

Good luck at the show. this is our club's sale year. We alternate sales & show cause the same people do most of the work.

A report on yesterdays UIS Show. We had 145 specimen entries. My garden bloom was at a good stage and I had a number to choose from. I was happy to have my stalk of Rimaround chosen as best specimen and also won Sweepstakes for the most blue ribbons. It was a fun day but I was worn out when I got home last night. Here are a few blooming this morning
