Sunshine is a beautiful dog and I know a wonderful companion for you. Sorry you got so much rain and Sunshine can't run and play in the yard, and enjoying and smelling the flowers. Love your pictures of her. Smiling

Oh what a happy story even if there are so many clouds right now.

I hear ya loud and clear on that rain - over 8" in the past week. Water water everywhere and my tomatoes and peppers just sit and pout.

This time last year it was in the 90's and I had daylilies blooming. Now we're in the 60's and no scapes on any of the daylilies yet.

I reckon we'll roll with the punches, eh?

Sunshine is one totally cool furball - what a wonderful and loyal companion she is for you. Lovey dubby Lovey dubby

I am SO happy for you & Sunshine!!!!
You may not have sunshine on your shoulders but Sunshine in your lap is every bit as good. Smiling
I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown

Congrats on your new puppy, Sharon! She's a beauty!

Perfect name for her, too. Sunshine will sure get you through the cold winters, the dreary rainy days, and heck, even where there is a bit of sun shining I imagine Sunshine will just help you enjoy those days, too. :>)

Happy Day to ya both!

Mornin'...
Welp, my most recent garden only consists of about 15 tomato plants, a 100' double-row of snap beans, about the same amount of Purple Hulls. But my winter/spring garden is still loaded with lots of onions, bok choy, cabbage, lettuces, and garden peas (picked my first pea pod yesterday!). Other than that I really haven't planted much cus of our unusually cold WET winter/spring.

I guess this weather is fine though cus this time last year we were complaining about 90+ degree weather so I don't mind if the heat holds off a while.

I saw the cutest little dog at the mkt today, made me wanna bring her home and give her a good home like you have done for Sunshine. Maybe one day....

Spring has been a long time coming - and just now the irises are what I would call full bloom. I am so late planting veggies I'm worrying that we'll hit another drought or something and I'll have nothing. Guess that's what pots are for. So yes, rainy here too and today was downright chilly.

I fought getting a dog for the longest time, but now that I've had her for about 6 weeks, I don't know what I did without her. Best dog ever! I sure lucked out with her.

She even dug up the runners beneath the wisteria 'tree' for me. I started my usual pulling them up and wrapping them around the trunk and she watched for a minute then by golly, she started digging. Got it all done in no time. So far, so good with letting her dig in only specific places. Although I did find a rhizome of some sort in the middle of the front yard. Looked a little like an Iris, but I laid it aside where irises already live and forgave her this one time.

Get a dog, Shoe. Nothin' better than a gardenin' dog.
Best thing I ever did!

Sunshine is one smart dog. She surely was meant to belong to you. They are such wonderful companions, never argue or laugh at some of the silly things we do. There has always been a dog in my life, what would I do without one......

Well, Pegi, she has her moments. Like when she ate my favorite black straw Derby hat and the roses that were on it. Of course the hat was 10 years old, but still . . . Big Grin
