Came home to find a pile of potting mix on the ground under my metro shelves. Immediately I suspected squirrel. Closer examination revealed this ON THE SECOND SHELF! Then i realized I picked this tray up off the ground this morning.


I swear I could hear it saying, "well shoot, how am I gonna make it down there!"

Awwww .. I almost stepped on a toad last night! Love those guys and go out of my way to make my garden "toad friendly".

I love toads too! I was not at all upset. And I was able to rescue the seedling s/he was sitting on

OMG how funny.. the poor seedlings .. squooshed by a chubby butt

My little friend was back this morning, although just on the ground. S/he seems to like hanging out in my nursery area! I might have to name it!

Those little rascals do get around! I spotted his little brother on the arm of a chair in the woodshed yesterday.

No kisses! I already have my prince. But I did wonder about him last night hoping he found a place to keep from freezing!
