Hi Lyle,
"My" seedling is looking great. I also like the look of the one after it and the one with the purple eye.

I sure my Happy Happy blooms this year. It did increase by one fan so maybe I will at least get bloom on one of the 2 fans.

Thanks for the nice comments.

Leslie, as of today the doubles I have shown are still 100% double.

The Happy Happy seedling has the edge I like and has opened without hanging, which is a good trait to have with large looping edges.

These are some of my WONDER OF IT ALL X DESERT ANGEL crosses, and happy to announce no hanging pedles.

Todays bloom comes from a cross that has been giving me some extra large blooms - this bloom is 8 inches, and also has a strong scape to hold the blooms without bending.

Lyle....I have just finished perusing this thread, and enlarging all your lovely seedling pix. Let me comment first on your photography. Sensational! All the pix are terrific. We should all bloom such beautiful seedlings as the one's you have presented here. My fav's are:

INFINITY & BEYOND X JUDGE NANCY (spectacular, intricate, eye zone)

#13014

SC IRISH ILLUMINATION X FLORENCE DENNY(Look at all those teeth! A beautiful, lovely cross. I always learn a ton of info from reading this Forum. I have FD in my garden, and will use it now in attempted crosses for both size and with some of my newly purchased toothy plants. Thank-you for sharing this info, Lyle. I am inspired by this cross for many reasons. Also, I like the coloring of 'American Freedom X FD'.

I see how hard you are working to get outstanding edges on your patterned eyes from the progression of your seedlings from one year to the next. James Gossard commented on his 'Dragon Fang' that he could always see the pattern in his head but not till Dragon Fang came along did it become a reality for him. My guess is that we all have that special picture in our heads. Thank-you for sharing all your lovely seedlings with us. Keep'm coming.

Lyle, outstanding seedlings. Thanks for taking the time to post & teach us.

I love the shipment I got from you, They came in the day before I had to leave for a funeral out west, so I popped them into the garden and crossed my fingers. The temperature that day was 50 degrees. They are doing AWESOME!

I've been MIA for the last couple of weeks and am just now getting a chance to catch up while on vacation. I've really been enjoying going back over this thread and seeing all your beautiful seedlings, especially after now seeing some blooms on a few of my own seedlings and realizing what dogs they are in comparison! What elegant blooms you have, Lyle! And need I say how much I love your WOIA seedling with the garden name "Betty's Seedling"? Whether or not your Betty is me, as far as I'm concerned it's me and I totally love that seedling! And I so hope that someday you'll introduce it, although understandably without "Betty" in the name. And there are so many other beauties here too, and It's such a treat to peruse this thread to see what you've come up with each week or so.

I've taken pictures of a couple of your seedlings and will try to get them posted here, although I'm using my IPad and looking at pictures with no labels so I may get something wrong and will have to correct later when I have access to my computer and my labeled pictures. But I'll go looking right now and see what I can find.

Here is my favorite so far, the purple, and I believe it's number is #10018. Love it!

It's more purple than the pictures show, but I don't know how to adjust it with my IPad -- sorry.

And here, hopefully, is the pink bicolor, I think #10003 or #10005. I really love this one also!
Thumb of 2013-06-09/Betja/93e2be

And let's see if I can do one more that I've located, hopefully #10015.

Yes, that's the one, Lyle, and I just love it. I tried a couple of crosses on it before we left for vacation, and I think they were taking -- I'll find out tomorrow when we get home.

I found another picture of #10018 on my IPad and I'll see if Ican copy it here. That one, the purple toothy bitone, is now one of my very favorite daylilies, and the color is deeper, more vibrant and much more purple than this picture shows. If you enlarge the photo you can get a better feel for it. And I suspectt that it will become more toothy on rebloom too. I think it's a real beauty!
