Ah, I see. I think spring would be the best time pot them up, but you'd probably need to dig them in fall while there's top growth to show you where to dig. The tubers are kinda brittle, so use care when digging them.

yes they are brittle , got one pot, tuber still firm but no sprouts yet. It gets watered when it rains.
It is beautiful and well worth handling tenderly.
