I would love to be able to zoom in on some of the photos that show up in the forums and database.

Now I have to download them to my computer and zoom into the feature I am wanting to look at more closely. I end up with a bunch of other peoples photos which I then delete from my computer.

I know that there is a one time zoom when you first click on it in the forum but it would be nice to be able to zoom a specific picture a bit more. Any possibility of doing that?

On my browser if I hold down the Ctrl key and scroll with my mouse wheel it will zoom for me. Then when I am done, I reset the zoom with Ctrl-0 (that's a zero).

I did a test and as I knew the Control + zooms in on my whole window gets bigger and control - zooms out a bit at the time.

but the control 0 puts everything back to original size with one click.

Thanks, for teaching this old dog a new trick. Hurray! Hurray!

If you don't want to zoom the whole page, and just the image, you could download an add on for FF.

I use Image Zoom. One thing you can do with it is right click on the image and role the mouse wheel. It will enlarge (or reduce) the image only.

I have a row at the very top of my laptop that says File - Edit - View - History- Bookmarks, etc.

If I click on "View", I can scroll down to Zoom In, Zoom Out ... easy peasy for this ole' gal!

I prefer "CTRL +". I can hit that a few times and then, without taki ng my finger off "CTRL", I can hit "CTRL 0" and zoom all the way back out in one click.

I tried the "CTRL +" but it doesn't work ... maybe because I use a Mac?

Didn't work for me either, I have a Dell with Windows 7, it only enlarges the print.

Or because you use a browser designed to support Mac-style keyboard commands and conventions.

I dunno. I write software for a living, but only embedded stuff like antiskid braking for airplanes. Stuff that makes sense. Not PC-browser-mojo. Just using that fuzzy, mutating stuff gives me indigestion. By the time I learn anything, it's obsolete.

I was shocked to find out how inflexible and stuck-in-my-ways I am. For example, "Lasagna Garden ing" just seems like heresy to me. Planting right IN compost? Can they DO that?

There was a Far Side cartoon where the Western settlers had their wagons drawn up in a circle, and Indians were riding around in a circle.

"HEY! They're lighting their arrows on fire!!! Can they DO that??!!!???"
