The first ones to bloom and show the bud colors are the ones that have been here for years. Lots of stalks now and many of the new ones also have stalks.The second photo is of ones that open a white with a bluish tint. More pics to come as they open.

A couple more opened today. These have been here several years.

I divided this clump last year and replanted in my back garden. I noticed the stalks are shorter but in time they will get to medium height. I never kept tags when first collecting iris so not sure what the name of it is.


This is the white with the bluish tint.

That is going to be a lot of blooms

Alva - hmmm, made a mistake on where I planted it. A short one among giants.
Gotta move it in the fall.

No clue on the Pink, Julia -- sorry.

But I loved seeing your *Nordica*. I think this is one of the greatest whites! It's a true, pure white, great substance to the petals and when I was searching for a white, I wanted one with bright orange beards. Nordica sure has that! Plus -- it loves to grow and bloom!! My favorite white!

Last year I was looking for some ruffly whites and thanks to all for their suggestions. I have not been disappointed in any of them that have opened so far. I still have a couple more whites to open yet.

The unknown again

Mystery solved on what was sent to me as Tropical Delight but turns out it is actually Power Point. The seller looked at my photos and identified it.
Thank goodness it was solved. Now to correct all my photos and maps. He will be sending me Tropical Delight.

I almost thought I had another wrong one when I saw the blue tint on this one but it is correct.

Winterfest - definitely a blue tint and it opened with 3 blooms at once. Nice.
