Val, they have indeed been carefree and dependable for me! Those last ones I posted are on their 3rd spring.

Here is an album of our garden through last week. Enjoy. I need to get out and photograph the new tulips, narcissus and Iris that are now out, but I have been ill for a few days, so I am cleaning up my pictures on the computer and missing the new kids. I still have tulips and narcissus to labelm but I will add them later. I hope I got these all correct. I did go out yesterday for a bit , but took no shots. I did deadhead everybody. But my energy level is zero. Patti

Thanks, PollyK. I am not a happy camper this week. I did finally post a report of my fine order from Siberian Iris Garden this morning , which was a big positive, but I hate being in bed when I could, and should be out working in the garden. I will catch up on more pictures between naps. And more garden vendor reviews. I may work on my fall bulb orders too. So all won't be lost. How come I also got those nice Monarda Pink Lace from you? Thanks Patti,

I just got notified of the feedback. Much appreciated.

I thought you might like them Smiling Plus they were plugs, and I knew you would know how to take care of them. Plus I can't stand an empty area in a box. I have some set aside for Neal too.

My grandson has been sick, viral infection and now strep. He just can't seem to shake it. He gets better, then back down again, and he's a very healthy 11 year old. And he is just worn out, and tired all the time.

I had a great spot for them. It was one I didn't have so I was very happy to get them. Thanks.

Sorry to hear about your DGS. That is so hard on an active kid to not be able to shake a sickness. I hope this is the tail end of my seeming endless spring cold and cough. I am missing so much. Patti

I hope they do well for you then. Monarda is pretty easy, even from plugs.

Jamie, my grandson has been sick for about a month off and on, but has trouble getting his energy back in between. The Doctor has run tests, but nothing serious, just an unfortunate chain of illnesses. And a lot of other kids in school have been ill also.

I bet you are missing a lot, in that beautiful garden full of spring.

Gorgeous shots Patti! Bulb season went quickly here this year, nice to see the show goes on :-). Sorry to hear you've been under the weather. You still got the deadheading done, and in your gardens that's no small task!

Rita, I love that stripy one- it reminds me of one of my favorites, 'Sorbet'.

Polly, so sorry to hear about your DGS illness. The "sick season" seems to have passed here.

OK..This is why I Need this forum. *Blush*

I have Daffodils coming up in May! I was in shock as to why I had Daffodils coming up on May 17th???

N-O-T! They're not a Daffodil but are Hymenocallis festalis (Peruvian Daffodil)

I have sooo much to learn about Bulbs. I put it in them in the ground a few weeks ago. Thinking They would come up next year. I guess they can't stay there through the winter in my Zone.. huh?

Kim, looks like they're only hardy to zone 8, so yep, you'll wanna dig those. I used to grow them several years ago, and kept them in pots. They increased and bloomed well in pots. I just stored the dry pot and all in the basement for winter. For potted tender bulbs, I like a free draining soil mix (I usually add some pine park fines and osmocote to MG potting soil). My routine with potted bulbs has been to divide and re-pot every other year. In off years I just replace the top inch or two of soil and work in some osmocote.

Beautiful, Patti! It seems your bulbs are somewhat later than usual this year, is that the case?
