Gigi, your photos aren't in my posts but they are in Elaine's. You ought to post this on the site talk forum so Dave can look into it. It could be a glitch in the system & he'll want to know about it.

Me either. I don't see your photos in my post Gigi. That's too strange. Well something whacky is going on. I just posted in the site talk b/c adding a plant to my list is acting strange. I did a screen shot to demonstrate. Do you know how to post screen shots Gigi? That would help if you could show Dave what's happening.

Too weird Gigi. When you first saw all that going on you must have thought you were seeing things

Couple of new pictures today - one more agapanthus blooming, the pool corner with variegated ginger, Achimenes (purple) Spathoglottis (yellow and pink/ivory) and a random orchid looking for a place to hang out. Last is my tilly ball blooming for the second time! It seems to like getting misted along with the orchids.

Elaine, love the pics. Our agapanthus was full of buds when we left FL. We have some here in AR that are blooming away.

Oh, Jean, I'd need to have my neighbors taking pictures of my garden if I had to leave it right when things were blooming!

Ann is so right, your orchid is absolutely beautiful. Since you're new to ATP, may I suggest you post it over on the Orchids forum, too? I grow orchids as well as 'one of everything' in my jungle, but most of my pictures of them are over on the Orchids forum.

Although . .

Couple of new gingers blooming today, but still no Hedychiums or Zingibers.
Kaemferia, peacock gingers are divas and have only recently shown their leaves above ground. Curcuma popped up a bloom very quickly after all the rain last week.


The 'Lobster Claw' Heliconias have lots of flowers this year.

Thanks Elaine for *reminding* me of the Florida Gardening Forum and telling me about this thread! We're heading out the door to dinner with friends but I hope to catch up on all these beautiful photo's soon. I've scanned through a few and WOW ... y'all can sure grow!

Ann, I did find a source for Siloam Double Classic. Oakes Daylilies has it for $20 plus shipping http://www.oakesdaylilies.com/... If I can't find it in someone's garden for trade, I'll splurge and buy one in the fall, I think.

Not a great time of year for having plants shipped to Florida, it's awfully hot! My garden helper and I were working today (because he couldn't come tomorrow) and after 2 hours we were both melted.
