I didn't know where this would belong but i spend most of my time on this forum or the sedum forum so here is the question.I found this zone map that has me in zone 9.I have always thought because i looked it up years ago, that i was in zone 8.

Has the zone map undergone a change lately. This map isn't our map from ATP, i happened to be web surfing, when i came across this.

Please take a look at this link.
http://www.gardenweb.com/zones...

I live in Ga. just about in the middle except closer towards South Carolina. This is the first time i've seen a map labeling us zone 9.I have been saying recently how close the temperatures in zones 8 & 9 are.I didn't realize they had been changed.I am going to search for the USDA zone map here on our site and see what it says now.

Thanks to anyone who takes the time to look at this with me and for any idea's,opinion's etc... I get!!! Confused

Here is the official site. They do change them perioldically

You can either click on your state and the state map will come up or enter your zip code and it will give you the info.

Jojoe, just looking at map you provided and one Marilyn provided, you look like an 8a-8B to me since you are near Augusta.
