Jmorth,
Thanks for the notation. I think I would have missed it otherwise! There all looking good and I like the GC with the Ipheion. What is it?

I'm exited because my crown imperial frits and uva vulpis are all looking good this year. The UV is about ready to bloom. Planted all two falls ago and only 2 crown imps broke ground last year and then promptly died back. Wish I knew why. The one thing different this year is I removed all mulch from beds around the frits.

Kim, that Corydalis is the most wonderful shade of blue! There are a couple of pale blue varieties of Muscari that Brent&Becky's are offering this year that have me quite tempted too.

Jmorth, love those summer snowflakes, such graceful beauties! For years, when I had only seen them in catalog pics, I thought they were tiny things like Snowdrops. A friend gave me some last year and they're blooming now too. I'm a big fan of nodding, bell shaped blooms, and loving the increase I'm already seeing in them.

I've been browsing fall bulb selections, and noticed some Snowdrop varieties from Brent&Becky's that get 12" tall or more. I had no idea any got that big!

That reminds me of the time Dave whacked a couple of my OT Lilies with the weedeater, right after I specifically showed him what to avoid! I was ticked for days! Micheal's Flower, that's the little Frittilaria isn't it? At least it is a bulb that will recover, but that doesn't help when looking at the garden this year.

Neal...I'm still ticked too Grumbling because Sometimes you can forget where you have things planted. And with bulbs..especially daffs. The leaves go away...Then I'll come and start digging and dig the bulbs.. *Blush*

Thanks for the hug...lol

Lovely, Evan! Those white Daffs are great with those Tulips. I've never grown those checkered lily Frits, I always thought they were really tiny, but recently saw them sold as cut flowers and the blooms are bigger than I realized.

Thx, I planted 5 meleagris, 5 fox's grape and 7 crown imperials 2 falls ago. No blooms last year and only only the 1 meleagris and 2 crown imperials broke ground (and promptly died back). I think I planted some things where the fox's grape were. I forgot to mark them!! This year all the crown imperials are up to about 1-2'. There not growing perfect straight like in the growers photos but I have them supported and am crossing my fingers that I get some blooms.
