Can someone explain beards to me in English please. I am no plant expert so use little words. LOL
If you were to state the color of this beard, what would it be?

I would have called it yellow with a purple tip but I don't know squat!!

Yah -- it's orange shaded to blue. Or purple. Many Irises have a two-toned beard. I happen to love that quality!!
