According to our Database here on ATP -- Full Tide is a blue Iris, and Missouri Mist has purple standards and light-colored falls. They don't look at all alike.............

it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to ID from a description or picture. Why PH of your soil, fertilizer, camera, lighting, day or evening, monitors, The only way is either you have a list and narrow it down, or buy one you think it might be it and plant it along side the one in question. If you do not want to do this then just label NOID #1

I have a pretty good list of PBF being a grower and hybridizer and doing a ton of research, if you are interested in the list let me know and I will forward to you, I know that Full Tide does not have it and neither does Missouri Mist

I have Full Tide and at one time had Missouri Mist.

Something that may help you is if you can find an older cataloge( like schrieners) and read the descriptions. Sometimes they are better than the registration descriptions as to small variations in form, beard color, etc. Also, you have to remember, as wasstated, that culture, and climate can change the appearence of an iris a LOT.!....Arlyn

No it was not on the list but is now, it helps when people tell me. I added some this past year when I would dig the field for replant.
