Other than 'Xanadu', does anyone know of a Philodendron that will tolerate sunny conditions? And I mean Southwest Florida Sun!!!
Thanks for any help.

I have P. goeldii, P. mello-barretoanum, several types of P. bipinnatifidum ("selloum") as well as numerous hybrids of these plants in full sun in southeast Florida. Were you thinking of Philos like these, or the vining or creeping types, or both?

That is very helpful. I am mostly interested in vining types (which the P. goeldii is!) so any more suggestions are welcome.

Actually, my P. goeldii is a "tree type" with leaves reminiscent of Schefflera leaves - very unlike most of the "tree type" Philos.

Here's a link to a picture: http://www.aroidiaresearch.org...

This plant is growing in full sun at Fairchild Tropical Garden.

I don't have very many viners, and the ones I do have are growing in the shade of the trees they vine on. If I learn of, or remember, ones that do grow in full sun, I'll let you know!
