Clematis I was one of the first 300 contributors to the plant database! Daylilies Hummingbirder Irises Region: New York
Seed Starter Vegetable Grower
Nothing worse than seeing your clematis open and on the foliage beside the bloom is bird poop. Sad
They hang out on top of the trellis so I'm trying to figure out a way to keep them off the trellises.
Ideas?

If you have any old CD's that you don't want, hang them from the top of the trellis or from a hook somewhere nearby. Birds don't like the way they look flashing in the sun and they'll stay away from them.

I've used strips of aluminum foil too. Easy to move or replace.
