I guess so. I can feel very faint smells way before the others around me but I have a hard time describing it.

I got some more accurate pictures of the flower color. The first bloom lasted 4 days.

Thanks Gigi. The flower is size is between 2- 2.5" The back of the petals have a dark red stripe and white striations.

Sorry Hetty, I should have taken better pictures early on. I was so excited about my first bloom, that failed to take a picture of the underside of the bloom.

No worries - I hesitate usually to identify from a picture anyway.

Why don't you give it a name? 'Plano Special' has a nice ring to it
The starburst center is what convinced me that it wasn't Rose Red, more so than the back of the flower.

Ok I like 'Plano Special' I have another noid that a friend from Florida sent me. Her name is Joyce so I ended up naming it 'Joyce'
